NUP Strategic Meeting with Eastern Region Leaders

Yesterday, the National Unity Platform leadership held a strategic meeting at our party headquarters in Makerere-Kavule with regional leaders, coordinators, and prospective candidates from the Eastern region.

This fruitful engagement provided a platform to discuss key ideas for mobilising support and consolidating the party’s strength in the region.

Such engagements are part of our broader effort to empower local leaders and streamline grassroots coordination.

This meeting, among other things, also provided an opportunity for our leaders on the ground to discuss challenges they face and share ideas of how best they can remain committed to the cause, despite the constant brutality from the state.

The party leadership pledged continued support to ensure that no region is left behind in the struggle for democratic governance.
