Hosting our Leaders from Northern Uganda

Earlier today at our headquarters in Kamwokya, we hosted several NUP leaders from Northern Uganda. Comrades came from the sub-regions of Karamoja, West-Nile, Lango and Acholi.

The comrades from Karamoja highlighted the question of indiscriminate killings in that region and the regime’s lack of interest or seriousness in addressing it. The comrades from Acholi joined all of us to remember their son, Rt. Hon. Jacob Oulanyah, and to commiserate with his family.

Thereafter, we had a meeting with these comrade leaders and exchanged views on various issues concerning NUP and their region. We are very glad to see that despite various challenges, they have continued to light up the candle of freedom.
