Electricity (Amendment) Bill 2022
nupadminOur Parliamentary team led by Hon. Mathias Mpuuga Nsamba made a presentation before the Parliamentary Natural Resources Committee on the Electricity (Amendment) Bill 2022 which in our view doesn’t offer any solutions to the challenges in the Electricity supply industry.
The Bill is generally intended to strengthen the regulatory function of the electricity sector. We thus proposed amendments intended to reduce the financial burden on electricity consumers.

It’s all about punishing and extorting money from ugandans, way forward to reduce electricity theft, is to reduce electricity tariffs; they aren’t user friendly at all.
